Welcome: a writers world

Hello, an author’s muse. Sincerely, Donald E Henson Author

I list my three books here first and where they can be found: “Kawhocumdia” a sci-fi

“The Bunny Trail Murder” a murder mystery

“To Blog” A how to book just by example. Visions and thoughts are written on my blog with CreateSpace. All are found:http://www.amazon.com/author/donaldhensonkawhocumdia

Here is the list of books that are a must to read for the beginning writer or even the writer that is looking for a little something extra that may be missing in your writing. Here goes: First and foremost: “The Elements of Style” by William Strunk Jr. and E.B. White. 2nd, Stephen King “A Memoir of the Craft On Writing” 3rd, Lisa Cron and her “Wired For Story” The Writer’s Guide to Using Brain Science to Hook Readers from the Very First Sentence. Next, “outlining your Novel” Map Your Way to Success by K.M. Weiland. Next and full of secrets “Techniques Of The Selling Writer” by Dwight V. Swain. Now, “Self-Editing for Fiction Writers” How to edit yourself into print by Renni Browne & Dave King. Then, Anne Lamott Author of Traveling Mercies “bird by bird” Some Instructions on Writing and Life. Now this is an eighth of the collection I’ve recommended reading, I’ve read each and every one of these books and, believe me, they make sense and they have given me a brand new outlook on writing, all of these can be found on amazon.com

  1. The learning never ends. I have new challenges, especially computer ones, all the time. Scary but rewarding. Hope you get some new posts. You are using a different approach. I am curious to see how it works.
